Found this at the bottom of a Foursquare newsletter this morning. No links, no clicking, no actions, just the puppy. It got me intrigued, so I googled and found the article: Unsubscribing? Not after you see Foursquare’s puppy eyes.
It’s an interesting thing that’s going on with newsletters (remember my earlier post about Musica?). Companies seem to find them useful (who knew?) to interact and engage with their subscribers base, so they need to find new and interesting ways to keep their subscription base. Personally I’m looking forward to the next puppy, and Word of the month.
