#TermOfTheDay: Bootstrapping

In general parlance, bootstrapping usually refers to the starting of a self-sustaining process that is supposed to proceed without external input. In computer technology the term (usually shortened to booting) usually refers to the process of loading the basic software into the memory of a computer after power-on or general reset, especially the operating system which will then take care of loading other software as needed.

I sometimes get lost in the wilderness of the internet while looking for something. So something leads to something which leads to something else. I got curious about the term bootstrap, said curiosity led to this new hashtag, #TermOfTheDay. I haven’t posted much on here lately so I hope this new topic will be self-sustaining, i.e. bootable, it’s a kind of ‘what I learnt today’ thing I want to now share, because, I do learn a lot of shit everyday.
