15 to 34 – Focus
So, I still haven't been to see a physiotherapist about my knee (but my excuse is 1, 4 and 5 in the Top 10 Reasons Men Put Off Doctor Visits). It's becoming slightly more evident with each run that I could lose my running career if I don't see one soon though. This morning's run was all sorts of painful. It could also have been the cold Joburg weather this morning - ended up doing 5 of the planned 13 kilometers. I'll ask around for physio recommendations when I'm next at gym in the middle of the day tomorrow 😛.

Look, I won't discount fatigue for why I've been so sluggish in the last few days, waking up late, missing runs and posting these blogs days late 🙈. But a lot of it is also because I've lost focus of what I'm doing and why I'm doing it. It sounds like an excuse that I don't always have this program top of mind all day (but I do forget), and as a result I end up watching episodes of Star Trek: Discovery until past midnight - it's no surprise I wake up late, and when I wake up late my day is completely thrown off and I have to play catch up. In an effort to fix this, I've put reminders for a few key times of what and why I'm doing this, but over and above that, I want to make rest a deliberate part of the program going forward. I'll let you know how that goes.
I went to an Angular.jozi meetup this evening. It was actually pretty good. I want to start networking and meet new, fascinating people in this new phase of my life. But over and above that, I want to be in the know about what's going on out in the world, find out what people are doing and how they are doing it, be built by others and hopefully build into others... that sort of thing. Any meetups I should check out? Please let me know in the comments.
