3 to 34 – Sunday

You know how we roll on Sundays by now, right? Chuuurch! I don't know how main church did, but children's church smashed attendance numbers today (higher than first Sunday of the year, yes). A growing church is a church that's making a difference, and I'm grateful to be a part of it.

Main service message was about recovering from mistakes and failures. Key takeout in a verse and quote:

A man who refuses to admit his mistakes can never be successful. But if he confesses and forsakes them, he gets another chance. ~ Proverbs 28:13 (TLB)

and

"Honesty is the fastest way to prevent a mistake from turning into a failure." ~ James Altucher

I'll be working on improving my communication this week, manage expectations, lest I create failures.

I'm still feeling yesterday's run, body is stiff and tired even after sleeping half the afternoon I'm struggling. Hopefully tomorrow is a better day. Also, I finished that Paulo book this evening. I'm really wondering what I've been doing with my Sundays all along. Haai!
